Your stories are private by default and are never published without your action.

Your information

We process only the account, story and usage information required to provide My Long Letter. Your stories and optional recordings are stored in your Google Drive. Google encrypts this data in transit and at rest.

Optional AI help powered by OpenAI

When you deliberately choose ChatGPT writing help or voice transcription, the content needed for that request is sent securely to OpenAI for processing. AI requests are not used by My Long Letter for advertising, and the API request is configured not to be stored by OpenAI.

Analytics, advertising and payments

We keep limited first-party server logs to understand visits; these logs do not place tracking cookies. We use Google Ads measurement—with your consent—to understand service usage and advertising performance. Google Ads measurement is disabled by default and is enabled only if you choose Accept in our privacy controls. Read Google’s privacy policy. Stripe processes subscriptions and payment details; My Long Letter does not receive your complete card number.

Your choices

You may edit, export or delete your stories and delete your account from the Account page. We do not sell your personal information. For help, email support@mylongletter.com.
